You recently stayed at a hotel and left a piece of personal property behind. Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter:

– Explain when you stayed at the hotel

– Describe the item you left behind

Dear Hotel Manager,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing concerning a personal item I inadvertently left in my room during my recent stay at your esteemed establishment. My stay was from March 5th to March 7th, 2024, in room 502.

The item in question is a black leather notebook, approximately A5 in size, containing important notes and contacts. I last remember using it at the desk before checking out. It holds significant sentimental and professional value to me, and I am quite anxious about its loss.

I kindly ask you to check with your housekeeping team if they found this notebook? If it has been recovered, I would deeply appreciate if you could arrange to have it mailed to my address, the costs of which I am happy to cover. Please let me know the procedures for this process or if there are any details you need from my side.
