    Using the instruction/introductory time of 2 minute and 30 second to review section 4, 3, 2 and 1. I will like to know if this is allowed in the real test environment.

    Great question. In some IELTS situations they will ask you not to do this. However, if your are not instructed it is worth a try as it will be of much help. In worst case scenario, the instructor will ask you not to open your book, or to close your book.
